- Also, surprised I forgot about this one, but new Portraits obviously makes sense. Not just for reaching new Paragon levels, but perhaps unique ones for getting a character to level 70 in Hardcore (which, even still, I wouldn't even attempt), or maybe even some Class-themed Portraits, which I could see being really cool.
- As far as the "Skins" idea goes, I might also suggest pulling in our "Ancestors" seen briefly in Act V. Some of them were basically just the characters you play as, but with symbols over their face, but in some cases -- such as the Crusader -- they actually look a little different, while retaining the same basic models. I like the idea of a Crusader rocking his own beard!
- Another seemingly-trivial suggestion might be to allow us to rename our heroes? The names exist purely for role-playing purposes anyways, and granted, Seasons present an opportunity to create a character with a different name, but it could still be a nice addition. For example, my original Crusader is named Akkhan, but I found out (via a Blue Post right here on these forums) that Akkhan wasn't actually a Crusader, thus making it unlikely that his name would have been passed down.

Honestly, I am *STOKED* to finally be able to take these items out of my packs, but even better is that now they show up in the other Menus! I wanted to offer a bit of feedback, though, in hopes of improving the system even further! In no particular order: - When you click on the Wardrobe, it should just automatically pull on the window. Since there are tabs on the side, I think it just makes more sense. - I'm not sure that "Wings" and "Pennants" really warrant having two separate categories. The reason is, I think it kind of pigeonholes you guys into making lots more Wings and Pennants, as opposed to maybe more creative options. Plus, when you equip Wings *AND* a Pennant, it's visually kind of overkill, to the point I think it starts to look a little silly. - I would love to see a new "Skins" option. That is, being able to replace the character-model with a slightly altered version of them. Look at the new Season 3 artwork, for example; there's a gorgeous, red-haired Demon Hunter! Or for my Barbarian, I love the idea of having a black Barbarian with long dreadlocks, or maybe a Crusader with fair features and short red hair, sort of an Irish appearance. Really, there's a lot you could do there, so that even if you have a team of all Male Wizards, they might all look a bit different (even if it's only their face and skin-color). Keep their voice-work the same, but maybe they also get a different portrait? - Working off of that last idea, maybe even do "Special Skins", such as giving your Barbarian green skin and black hair like an Orc, or making your Wizard appear as a Protoss. Because they'd be so over-the-top, maybe just reserve them for special events, like on Halloween, or during Blizzcon weekend, stuff like that. - I noticed that "Angelic Wings" has been renamed to "Eternal Light". I'd personally suggest changing them once more, and calling them "Wings of Justice", to fit the precedent of the "Wings of Valor". I might also suggest giving it a cool little quote, too. - By the way, *PLEASE* don't implement all of those other "Wings" that were datamined. A number of them look virtually indistinguishable from the original Collector's Edition Wings, and those are something I take a great deal of pride in; if other Wings are to be added, then I think an effort should be made to ensure they're instantly recognizable as being different. - Obviously, more Pets might be cool... Although I struggle to think what they might be. Personally, I hate the Special Hound-thing that's currently available, because not only does it look creepy as hell, but it looks like an enemy, so I would constantly stop to try and attack it, which is why I don't even use it.
skins would be awesome
skins would be awesome Right? Plus, the new Launcher image shows a red-haired Demon Hunter, which looks awesome (even if I'd love seeing more ethnicities being represented), and there's just a lot they could do there. Like I said, for me, I love the idea of a dark-skinned Barbarian and a ginger Crusader. Or hey, even harken back to Diablo 1 and 2, with skins based on those characters?

During the beta they had scrolls of companionship that would summon a number of different pets that would follow you around and collect gold for you. Off the top of head they had Rabbits, Pigs, Roaches, Crows, Bats, snakes, centipedes, snakes, scorpions, chickens... Check it out, it was great and I hope they bring them back somehow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omgDr7i14rw
i absolutely love that i can now see my wings at the character selection screen. It's been requested since day one. Happy that it wasn't overlooked in this patch.
Thank you Blizzard for the added perk of viewing it up close ^_^ i absolutely love that i can now see my wings at the character selection screen. It's been requested since day one. Happy that it wasn't overlooked in this patch. Thank you Blizzard for the added perk of viewing it up close ^_^ Yeah, it's a minor thing, but makes them *WAY* more satisfying!!! Like I said, their renewed effort on that front just makes me a little worried that they're going to start implementing all of those Wings that were datamined. Some were cool and interesting, but others just look too similar to what's already out.
/Bump!!!
Seriously, I really do *LOVE* the idea of new Skins for each Class. Call of the Ancients already shows a number of cool Barbarians!
Nice thread with lots of good feedback and suggestions. I like to encourage healthy discussions like this whenever I can, and I think it’d be cool to see more ideas (and feedback) from the community about the Wardrobe feature. Thanks for starting it, Terin!

What do you like about the Wardrobe right now? What about the current functionality do you think could be improved? I have my pet and my wings in it. Cool I guess. Allow storage of pants. What else would you like to see added to this feature? Add dyes. If you don't want to add dyes as free, then add a visual for each dye, plus a number indicating how many dyes you have purchased. You apply them from the wardrobe in some sort of interface. For example, lovely dye would have an icon on the interface. Somewhere on that icon a number, such as 5, would be displayed counting down every time you apply it. A player would have the actual dyes in storage or integrated into the wardrobe each time one is purchased from a vendor. This would free up storage of dyes while making merchants who stock them worth searching for. Edited for grammar.
