The charts are generated from the data of more than 6 million Diablo III characters. They list the most powerful Monk Legendary and Set items, that are being used by level 70 Monks during Patch 2.3.

This gear guide shows the equipment worn by the level 70 Monks who are actively playing in Reaper of Souls during patch 2.3. For each weapon and armor slot, there are charts of three groups of Monks:
1. The softcore Monks who are in the bottom 75% of elite monster kills.
2. The softcore Monks who are in the top 25% of elite monster kills.
3. Hardcore Monks, regardless of elite monster kills.
Each chart shows the best Monk items for a specific item slot.
