Hello, folks! Hello, Blizzard CMs! I've playing D2LOD and D3ROS for years since vanilla. And just wanted to share with you some of my thoughts about improvements I'd to see in-game, if I may. First of all, I love this game. I've allways loved playing RPGs. The darkness of the Diablo saga and the Hack&Slash gameplay charmed me since my childhood. That's why I feel sad when I realise this game has so much potential wasted in "stupid" decisions. No offense, I'm sure those are there for a reason, and of course I cannot understand them, but, as a player, I want to offer my point of view in exchange. I'll try to be brief. 1º - The drop rate is fine. The drop areas are not. You force us to farm inside the regular rifts instead of the oldschool map and boss farming. Why are you wasting dozens of cool maps with poor rates? You send them to oblivion just because rifts are faster? There are maps that Ill never see again since the campaign mode. Why not giving the whole adventure mode the same legendary drop rate like the rifts, and compensate the rifts giving a higher drop rate to the rift guardian instead (which is none atm)? What could be better than farming the new Cow Level for exp and items, even finding some goblins, spawning maybe a vault in the process, hunting down rare purple monsters for unique loot, killing bosses over and over again for tons of shards maybe, or even unique gems? I really love the Cow Level, good job, seriously. But do you know what I felt when I was looking for it this weekend? "What am I doing? A 5min rift will give me more legendaries than 20 chests and 20 bosses outside!" Why?! You are just burying your precious maps to the ground. Do something about it. The rifts have been the most boring decision so far. 2º- The difficulty should be increased a little. Nowadays I could slam my keyboard with my head and clear the whole screen in T6. I hated old vanilla days when MonsterLevel10 was a pain in the !@# because our damage was lame. Now monsters are lame, or we are overpowered. Either way, It is easier to increase a bit the difficulty. Since the add of ancient items for helping people to push further in GR, non-GR have become too easy. Add T7, T8, T9, T10. 3º - The end game is boring. Grater rifts are fine. Its fun to level the gems, and its fun to climb levels further and further. But it is not funny to be oneshotted with 1.000.000 life and 150.000.000 thougness. The damage is absurd in 50+. Maybe just increase monsters life from that point on. I know, I know, there are people in 60+ soloing in godmode, and that's what they give them uniqueness. But they need to do GR fishing over and over just to get one GR they can afford to do in time. Not funny. At all. You said you will removing rift stone farming in a future patch. Good job. It's lame. But don't just go the easy way and let us do the last grift we accomplished. High GR stones should be rare to obtain. What about adding a chance to drop GR stones with random levels in adventure mode as loot? In purple monsters maybe? Or main bosses? Or keywardens? Or uber bosses maybe? Even in regular rifts bosses? What about to open a chest and drop a lvl57 GR stone? Woah! I can then have a real goal! Farm stones so I can do GR and be able to push the ranks! Also, uber bosses are just lame. They should be at least like lvl 60+ greater rift guardians, cause we allways farm them in 4 player games. Make uber bosses moar difficult and, for god, moar rewarding. Make them loot like a lvl 60 GRG also. 4º - The itemization is ok now. Some skills are still unused and this make me as sad as the unused maps in adventure mode. I would like to use any skill I want, and still be competitive. Of course there must be skills that deal moar damage to moar enemies in less time with less mana cost, etc. But there are spenders forever unused, generators long ago forgotten. I'm sure you are aware of that and improving it in future patches so I'm ok with that. The sets are maybe too powerful. Well, maybe not so powerful, just mandatory. And ofc I know making OP sets to be 6 pieces is a must, you could increase the number of possible items set to 7-8, just to give us a hard choice about what legendary to use for complementary purposes. My Ice Climbers are covered with dust in my stash waiting for that moment. 5º - Bring back Magic Find. Remove or reduce legendary % penalization. We want to farm items. Let us farm items. Let Cain set be useful, and maybe follower magicfind % and topaz gem. Add moar goblins. We love goblins. Greater stone goblin. Rune goblin. But please, improve gold goblin, regular goblin, and gem goblin, those suck. Make gold goblin drop moar gold (but why he even exists? for the newbie players with no gold maybe, that's ok, just 3M gold is nothing after a week of play). Make gem goblin drop end-game gems, or even randomly-already-leveled legendary gem, or new blue gems with +140randommainstat+140vitality?. 6º - Legendary gems are fine. I would add a new gem that gives the passive of the Ring of Royal Grandeur, and get rid of it. Most regular gems are useless. What about this? In weapon: %AtkSpeed Topaz, %CritChance Amethyst, %CritDmg Emerald, %Damage Ruby, %ElementalDamage Diamond; In helm: %XP Ruby, %ResourceLeech Emerald, %ResourceIncrease Topaz (in case you still refuse to bring magic find back), %Life Amethyst, %CDR Diamond. Bring rune system back from D2LOD. Add a bunch of runes with no other use than grant a specific passive when you put them in a specific order in, say, chest and/or pants. Move through enemies. Fear enemies. Specific elemental absortion. Reflect projectiles. Stun on criticals. Leech resources. Reduce cooldowns. Grant revive passive of your class. Summon skeletons. Teleport under hit. Those are just examples, I'm sure you can bring us some epicness, something we can really afford in exchange of the +900/+600 mainstat we'll lose. Let us farm those runes by killing the different main bosses of the game, one in each boss. Lets make some use of the white items. Lets make some white/magic/rare (never leg or set) chests roll 4 sockets and some pants with 3 sockets, so you can use an epic 4 rune combination only in that chest, sacrificing that piece. Legendary regular gems, anyone? Ancient ones? Harder to obtain but more mainstat? Maybe a new colour of gem, the blue one, who can only drop by the gem goblin, as I said earlier, with a random mainstat + vitality? 7º - Bring back trades. Don't let us trade legendaries if you are worried about farmers. Or let us do only in clans and after X time. Let us farm regular gems, legendary leveled gems, leveled greater rifts stones, crafting materials, recipes, gold (you know gold is useless atm, why worrying), even shards! Let us trade SOMETHING! 8º - I cannot remark enough how much I'd love to see adventure mode full of people diablo/malthael/butcher/leoric/cydaea/izual/azmodan/belial/adria running, cowlevel exp farming, goblin chasing, keywarden slaying, bounty questing, or just wandering around hoping for all of that to happen. But none of this will happen if you still force us to rifting over and over and over again, because out-of-the-rift is almost 0% leg drop. Please, please, oh, please, make all adventure mode the same %drop and let us play your whole game and not only your randomized rifts. Please. 9º - Make crafting items more interesting. Be able to create an ancient item on the blacksmith is tempting, but if they suck because of the lacking passive, who cares. Yes, I could get an epic ancient Arcane Barb for my DH, but again who cares, even a WyndForce has more utility. 10º - Add new gifts. Ramalandi's are nice, really. Add a new one for jewelry. Add a new one who turns an item into an Ancient version with rerolls. Add a new one more common than the previous one which rerolls an item entirely. Or maybe turn those into a quests, but since we can be carried from 1-70 in like 20min, I wouldn't do that. Of course, I'm forgetting a bunch of thoughts I just whine about when I play with my mates. But for now, those are Just my two cents. Thank you, and keep up the good work.

The drop rate of adventure mode and a normal rift is the same. The reason why we see more drop rate in a rift is because of the 4player co-op buff, people never move together in adventure mode, in fact, they split up so they can finish all bounties asap while in rift they are mostly together which is why we notice more legendaries fall more than ever. Increasing the difficulty + adding some kind of special reward would help reviving adventure mode! 10º - Add new gifts. Ramalandi's are nice, really. Add a new one for jewelry. Good work! Some good ideas here! Its just saddening how little most of the game is used, and how useless most of the skills/items are. And also saddening how totally OPed the new sets are, and make every other items/sets utterly useless.
The damage inflation in this game needs to stop! Or in about 1 year we will be soloing GR100 and the rest of the game dies in less then one hit.
i've had an idea could there be an option to change the base of you skill and i do mean skill not wpn dmg type, i mean skill dmg type let's say from holy to fire or just dmg , then it could be like an add to your skill like this the skill type , (no elemental dmg / fire/ holy /lightning/ enz) the skill to apply to, (skill) and ofc the rune, (rune) like so char monk /skill FIST OF THUNDER /Ele. type fire rune Quickening i think that would be awesome, then you could just change like the ama ,assa or sorc in d2 what type you want to be both skill and wpn i'd say more build support and diversity, witch is what battle.net wants is it not??? and something else, but still skill based, it would be best if the skill zeal is returned to it's orginal like on this page http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/gameplay-systems-crusader-panel-transcript < the fourth video from the top so that the barb has ww, the crusader has zeal, the wiz has disintegrate,the monk crippling wave,the dh has rapid fire (the witch doctor is different, but maybe he need something similar to, i don't play him often),but again to the topic, PLEASE RETURN ZEAL THE WAY IT WAS oh and one more thing to add to season 5 or 6 i think it would be nice to have a side switched demon char and thus have both demonic and angelic skills, like i said before in a email to you (or one of you) with greeting's TomD |
