Hello,
I've been trying all day to play Diablo but everytime i click resume game or join game on any of my characters i can't get pass the Loading screen and after a few minutes i get a "Network Disconnect: The game connection has been lost: your client has been disconnected from the server. Error".
I have been able to play World of Warcraft or other games, just can't play Diablo III.

It sounds like there are multiple possible issues occurring here. I'm going to address the original poster's issue with disconnections. If you're experiencing a different problem, please create a new thread for more personalized assistance.

Connection/disconnection issues can occur after a patch. Ensure your firewall and security programs are configured to allow Diablo's traffic to pass through unobstructed.

Try running the game with security software (temporarily) disabled.

If these steps don't help, there are several more steps you can try here.

If all else fails, please post some network information:

  • Windows Version: (Xp, Vista, 7 or 8)
  • Firewall: (McAfee, Norton, ZoneAlarm, etc.)
  • Network Adapter make, model, and driver date and version:
