| I've had issues the past couple of days (never had this issue before), that when using the Energy Twister build (along with WD, Barb & Monk supp) and spamming Twisters in huge mob packs at GR80+, I get massive lags (not FPS lags, but latency). Does this have to do with all of the AoE computing along with DoT, and thus the servers can't handle it? Sometimes the latency pops up to 2k, sometimes the latency stays at my normal 40ms and it's still freeze-lagging. It also seems to affect others, and since many claim it's because of Pain Enhancer I tried using another gem, still happens. Every other build I use (arcane orb, or on any other class) is fine, the only issues I get is when I use the Energy Twister one. Unlike OP I never truly DC, but sometimes I get frozen as long as 10 seconds. Edit: In a stickied thread, this can be found "High level Greater Rift lag KNOWN ISSUE: Caused by certain spell/item combinations. The developers are investigating." However, it is not stated exactly what spell/items combinations are used, so they can't really be avoided.. | ||

| The developers are indeed investigating the issues some players experience in higher level Greater Rifts Shadow, but I find this interesting: Sometimes the latency pops up to 2k This could be indicative of an additional issue. However, it's going to be pretty difficult to diagnose because we're going to need a Trace Route and Pathping to the Diablo III IP addresses taken during the spike. I'm sure you're pro Shadow, but maybe not that pro. What we could try is a WinMTR report. You could start it running at the beginning of each Greater Rift and if you experience the problem, post the results in the thread.
