| Hello Everyone i am experiencing a lag spike issue since i logged in today. tried to made a speedtest and my ping is under 20(perfect for my location), and other game and all it's going really smooth, then i log in on diablo and it's a mess, over 1k latency.. i cant even leave the game without alt+f4 it. | Hi there Eternity, thanks for posting your Trace Route and Pathping data. First, we encourage anyone experiencing latency in Diablo III to try the troubleshooting steps here, just in case this is a unique local connection issue. If the issue persists though, we need a bit more information before we can investigate further:
I know this is inconvenient, but without it there's little we can do as we don't see any problems with our servers directly and millions of people are playing the game without issue. I would think it's quite unlikely that this number of people, across several different providers started getting the exact same problem, at roughly the same time. It would be a lot more unlikely that a server issue would only affect a tiny percentage of the playing population though HELLDIRGE. This is why we need to help each other to see if we can find where the issue is happening. This information is quite useful actually, it's starting to show a pattern with other reports for players going through Amsterdam. Could you post a normal Trace Route and Pathping for us too? If my suspicions are correct, I can send your information to our network guys who can reach out to the involved parties for further information.
