| www.diablofans.com for upcoming changes in patch 2.2 there are nice updates to sets. hopefully after this patch we will se much build diversity at least for some classes. DH and Monk(my favorites) get very nice updates to sets. I will try the PTR. P.S.: Blizzard, this amount of content we want to see in new patches :) and I hope that PTR will not last 3 months. | ||

as a wizard the new patch does not look promising, every other class is getting an intresting new set and we wizard get ANOTHER DoT set wich is weaker then the 1 we have now I do hope that you will find some time to test out the new set on the PTR once it is live, because we will certainly look for feedback on the new sets, be it positive or negative. If you test the new Wizard set on the PTR and actually confirm your fears that the new set feels weak, then we will certainly be interested in hearing more about why that is. | ||

ok we have to test it first but seems to be not that strong... And that is why testing is needed, because 'seems' is speculation and not factual. The feedback we will get from people testing these sets on the PTR will be crucial as that will help us identify exactly what works as intended and what does not :-) | ||

It seems the ability to make "interesting" features is limited to increasing numbers by 500-1000%. But maybe you know your demographic better, maybe big numbers is what people find fun in this game. Fun is a rather subjective term, and what constitutes "interesting" is as well, hence why I also said "we certainly hope" in my sentence that you quoted. While I do not personally agree with you that the things we do are all limited to increasing numbers, we do think that big numbers are fun and we suspect others do as well. We are also aware that big numbers is not everyone's cup of tea, and that is perfectly okay—if you think something else is more interesting though, then we welcome constructive feedback on that :-) | ||
