MindHack #2212 | Out of range error after 2.1(1) | Category: Technical SupportAugust-29-2014 2:52 PM PDT (10 years ago) |
So, the tittle pretty much says everything. After patch 2.1 when I launch the game I get an out of range error and have to reboot my pc. Did some research on the internet, didn't find anything usefull and I'm currenlty reinstalling the game. This however is probably not gona wprk since I havent changed any of the game's settings. So , what can I do ? Thank you |

Try editing your D3Prefs.txt file located in My Documents\Diablo III. Using a text editor like Notepad, change either or both of these lines if they exist. DisplayModeWindowMode "0" Vsync "0" to DisplayModeWindowMode "1" Vsync "1" Save the file and try the game again now. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |

Drax, Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |

Drax , Try setting the game to run at your desktop resolution setting. Change these lines DisplayModeWidth "1280" DisplayModeHeight "720" to DisplayModeWidth "1920" DisplayModeHeight "1080" _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |

Drax, Can you try disconnecting your secondary monitor and rebooting so it's not detected? See if it still does it with just the primary hooked up. If it does, I'd try the reverse, using just the Samsung. You'd need to adjust the game's res to match the lower res in that case. This is just to see if it's making a difference or not, not a suggested solution to the problem. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |
