Mephisto #2686 | Release an Anti-Windows 10 anniversary patch(1) | Category: Technical SupportSeptember-25-2016 6:39 AM PDT (8 years ago) |
After the patch was released from Windows, the game is not working properly any more. It freezes without any apparent reason. The only way to solve the problem is by closing diablo with ctrl - alt- canc. Now obviously this is redicolous. I've read a number of threads going around this topic and apart from the obvious 'check drivers update' the other is 'disable xbox dvr'. I tried disabling xbox dvr, that btw I did not even know i had enable. I did not even know i had it installed!!!! I tried disinstalling it by going where the programs are, but it wont allow me... Now, i hate windows, i hate bill gates, and now those beeeeep are not making me play. I have asus rog of last generation that i bought just a couple of weeks before windows anniverary patch. Before everything was going well... after... doom. Now i play hardcore and i cannot afford constant freezes of the game. I lost already too many good pgs. Can't you just fix this !@#$ with a Blizzard patch??? I really dont know where to go to solve the problem Hope to have feedback |

If you do not have or cannot login to your Microsoft account, you can disable the services manually. This will prevent the Xbox app from running entirely. 1.Press Windows Key + R to open the Run box. 2.Type: services.msc 3.Locate Xbox Live Auth Manager. 4.Right-click and select Properties. 5.Change Startup Type to Disabled. If the Service Status is Running, click Stop. Click Apply. 6.Repeat steps 3 through 5 for services Xbox Live Game Save and Xbox Live Networking Service. If after disabling the Xbox DVR and updating your video drivers if needed does not resolve the issue, disable the streaming option in the Battle.net application under the Streaming options. |
