Malamess #1339 | Random game crashes with id's and no clue.(1) | Category: Technical SupportAugust-23-2016 11:48 PM PDT (8 years ago) |
I've been getting random game crashes since 2.4.1 but it's gotten worse in the last few months. Sometimes it'll crash non stop and other times it'll run smoothly for a long time. I've gotten a different error id each time. this time I'd just zoned into a greater rift ruins of corvus and it crashed to desktop with an unexpected error has occurred. I can't even count how many times I've lost greater rift keys or the loot from completing them or bounties due to this so any help is appreciated. I've run the repair utility countless times, reinstalled the game completely, all drivers are up to date etc. EEC8DE9E-3B63-498C-8143-49C799C827AF |

Malamess, Your latest submitted crash report looks like it's related to sound. Make sure your sound drivers are up to date first. If you're not sure if they are or not, post your dxdiag info and I can probably get you a link to the latest release. You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Press Windows Key + R. Type DxDiag and press Enter. In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information. Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it) Locate the Dxdiag.txt file just created and open it to copy and paste ALL of it's contents into your reply. ______________________________________________________________ Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |

Malamess, You might need to use a text hosting site like pastebin then. ______________________________________________________________ Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |

Malamess, I believe your default sound device is actually a Corsair headset and not plain speakers as it's listed. I use the same model at home. ------------- Sound Devices ------------- Description: Speakers (Vengeance 2100) Default Sound Playback: Yes Default Voice Playback: Yes I'd suggest installing the latest Corsair drivers and companion software from here: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/support/downloads You'd want to get the bottom entry. Unzip what you get to a folder and run the included .msi file afterwards. ______________________________________________________________ Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |
