InDot #1671 | Getting D3 to run on my computer -- PLEASE HELP!!(1) | Category: Technical SupportAugust-9-2016 7:31 PM PDT (8 years ago) |
Hello All! I was wondering if anyone is able to help me in getting Diablo 3 to run on my new laptop. I just bought this laptop and it is a Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series with hd intel graphics. I will save you some time and inform you that everything on this laptop is up to par to run D3 fairly well, except for the dedicated video RAM memory. This laptop has around 4000 MB of available graphics memory, however it is only utilizes 128 MB of that memory towards video memory, meaning that I cannot run D3. I tried to alter this through the BIOS settings, but unfortunately this computer doesn't allow me to do that. So, I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem and has found a way around it in order to play Diablo 3. P.S. I can run the game sufficiently on my desktop, but I would really like to get it up and running on this laptop so I can game on the go occasionally. Thanks in advance! |

InDot, Could you please post some information about your laptop? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Press Windows Key + R. Type DxDiag and press Enter. In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information. Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it) Locate the Dxdiag.txt file just created and open it to copy and paste ALL of it's contents into your reply. ______________________________________________________________ Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |
