So a friend of mine was recently banned for using third party programs, but he does not use them. He's appealed and it's been reviewed and they say that the ban will be upheld, but he has no clue why. He's now worried to log into any other blizzard game because whatever falsely triggered this ban for D3 will probably trigger it for other games. The closest thing to a third party program he'd use is the num lock trick, but literally every streamer/ranked player uses that. If that was the cause of the ban, we could learn to live without it, but a perma-ban seems excessive. Is there any way to have this re-reviewed cause he really is innocent. If there IS a third party program running, he did not put it there, did not have someone put it there, and wants it removed. TLDR: Friend banned, review process assumes he's guilty so gives no information on what triggered ban, friend upset/afraid to log into anything blizzard for fear of more false bans. p.s. - "You know your friend sounds guilty, right" of course a guilty party would want info to try and work around Warden, but what would an innocent person who legitimately has no idea why they've been banned sound like? |

PantheraOnca, Your friend will need to follow the appeal directions in the correspondence he's received as that's his only way to contact us on the matter. I'm afraid you can't do anything on his behalf as you are not the owner of the account. The forums are also not the right venue for discussing account disciplinary actions. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |
