Hello Spag, Looks like the game may have crashed before it was able to send over the error report. I may need you to post the error report from the Diablo III files if the steps below do not stop the crashing. Open the My Documents folder in Windows. In the My Documents folder there will be a Diablo III game folder. Delete the Diablo III folder. To be on the safe side make sure Windows and the drivers in the computer are up to date. Run the computer in a selective startup mode. Please post the latest Diablo III error report
Open the InspectorReporter folder and then the Reported Bugs folder. You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will have a crash log inside. Open the newest folder and find the D3Debug.txt file. This is your error report. |

Hey Spag, Thank you for the update. Bummer there is not any error reports in the folders. Please post a DXdiag and let us know if what any error message or code you may see says. DxDiag: 1) Press Windows Key + R. 2) Type DxDiag and press Enter. 3) In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information. 4)Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save 5) Paste the DXdiag into the post, select and highlight everything you just pasted, and hit the "pre" button (It says "Code Blocks" when you hover your mouse over it). That'll make the information much more readable. |

Spag, The error report you have is actually being generated in the Battle.net Desktop App, not the game. It's an issue the developers are aware of and investigating the cause of still. They do mention that it may happen if you've forced the Battle.net Helper.exe task to close in the Task manager so if you've been doing that, I'd stop. Instead, select the option in the Desktop App to close itself after a game launches. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |
