Hello, Every time I attempt to Join a game, I wait through two lengthy loads, the start scene appears but with this message: 'The game connection has been lost: Your client has been disconnected from the server' I originally had Starter Edition; eventually purchased base release--yesterday--and noticed new functionality but can not get past game creation. I uninstalled D3, then downloaded a copy from battle.net. The problem remains. Thanks for any help. |

Helo Relayor, There are several things that could be causing Diablo III to load slowly and then eventually disconnect. The steps below should help out. If not please relay back with a DXdiag from the computer. • There are some files that are not deleted during a normal uninstall of Diablo III. We will want to delete them. Open the My Documents folder in Windows. In the My Documents folder there will be a Diablo III game folder. Delete the Diablo III folder. • Run the computer in a selective startup mode. • To be on the safe side make sure Windows and the drivers in the computer are up to date. • Let's set the Battle.net App to close when a game is running. 1) On the Battle.net App click on the big Battle.net icon in the upper left corner. 2) Then click on Settings from the dropdown menu that opens up. 3) In the General preference tab, under the When I launch a game field, select Exit battle.net completely. 4) Click on done and launch the Diablo III Please post a DxDiag:
2) Type DxDiag and press Enter. 3) In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information. 4)Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save 5) Paste the DXdiag into the post, select and highlight everything you just pasted, and hit the "pre" button (It says "Code Blocks" when you hover your mouse over it). That'll make the information much more readable. |
