Nimster, Can you post your D3Debug.txt file? It's located in the main Diablo III game folder. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |

Nimster, If that's the entire log file, it's not showing any evidence of a game crash, it just stops recording events which would suggest a possible issue with the computer itself. Could you please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Press Windows Key + R. Type DxDiag and press Enter. In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information. Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it) Locate the Dxdiag.txt file just created and open it to copy and paste ALL of it's contents into your reply. I'd also suggest looking in your event viewer at the system logs and seeing if any errors are being recorded there. To do that, you need to open Administrative Tools in the Control Panel, then open the Event Viewer. When that's up, click on the arrow next to Windows Logs along the left side to expand it and then click on System. Now along the right side, click on Filter Current Log.... and check the Error box followed by hitting OK. This will make the log much easier to search as it will only display errors now. I'm interested in any occurring when you experience the crashing. You may be getting a TDR error and this should confirm if that's the case or not. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |

Nimster, I'll still need to know if any errors are being recorded in the system log but in the meantime, I noticed your dxdiag reporting only 3 gig vram for your 980 Ti. It should be seeing 6 gigs. A little searching the net suggests this may be an issue with the way Windows 7 is reporting the size so it may be nothing to worry about but I'd suggest using another utility like GPU-Z to confirm the size is correct, should be 6 gigs. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |

Nimster, That number of errors may be ok if the log is going back very far. I'd suggest clearing it and then running the game again and then checking the log once more after a crash. It should be much easier to see if anything's going on at the time it occurs that way. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |
