So I just got on my laptop and updated D3 to the latest patch.. Now I am unable to play.. Since updating, the Battlenet app is bugged with missing buttons.. And when I try to launch the game, I get an error message that states "Diablo 3 cannot run because this graphics card is missing required features. Updating your driver may fix this".

Please help

As you can see, my games are no loner on the left hand side.. And also I can no longer see the exit,maximize, and minimize buttons.

While waiting for a response, I am running the repair tool to see if that helps.

Could you see if the suggestion mentioned in this thread from the Battle.net Desktop App Support forum helps?

You may still be using an unsupported video device though. I'd need to see your dxdiag report to make that determination.

You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Press Windows Key + R.
Type DxDiag and press Enter.
In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information.
Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it)

Locate the Dxdiag.txt file just created and open it to copy and paste ALL of it's contents into your reply.

Gimpzor,

Are you using video drivers for your 840 M from Nvidia's site or from MSI's? You should be using the latest offered by the laptop manufacturer or it may not be autoswitching properly.

You're currently using Nvidia's latest drivers. Are these the same release MSI has on their site for your model?

Gimpzor,

Try reinstalling with the drivers from MSI. I'd suggest not using the GeForce Experience at this time.
