Ive been playing D3 on and off since it came out and ive never had any issues running it. I just returned recently and have nothing but problems.

From flickering constantly, which i seemed to fix on my own reinstalling my display drivers, its not 100% but its about 100% better than it was.

Extended pauses or buffering

If i shift click on things like paragon points or posting a name of something in chat the entire client closes without an error message.

In windowed mode the game flashes and i can see glimpses of my desktop and its almost as if im clicking through the game to my desktop. I dont like running full screen as i have 2 monitors with extended desktop(which ive always had) and i like being able to use my browser on the other screen AND

If im playing in full screen or windowed mode or any mode and i minimize the game or tab out when in full screen, It will stay minimized 90% of the time and will not open back up....I have to right click and close and relaunch the game.

Anyone got anything that can potentially help me with this? Ive uninstalled diablo, i try running it as admin, ive reinstalled my display drivers, i dont know what else to try.

Windows 10 Home 64-bit OS
AMD Phenom II X6 10055T 2.8 GHz
12G RAM
GeForce GTX 460

Its an older system but ive never had any issues running anything on it from WoW, D3, LoL, to FFXIV. This is the first time ive had any issues with D3

I'd like to see your dxdiag info in order to see what you have running.

You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Press Windows Key + R.
Type DxDiag and press Enter.
In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information.
Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it)

Locate the Dxdiag.txt file just created and open it to copy and paste ALL of it's contents into your reply.

I'd also ask if you don't like running in full screen mode, why are you? I'm the same, always using windowed mode so as to more easily do things outside the game on another screen.

I'd try updating the video drivers first. Since the release you have installed now which came out July 2015, Nvidia has brought out 14 newer versions with the latest being these.

SerMerlyn,

Would you have another video card you could swap in as a troubleshooting step to see if it's the card or not? I'm pretty sure I've seen the flashing symptom before but can't remember the outcome or even how long ago I saw it. But it definitely looked familiar.
