I was disconnected from Nepkalem Rifts twice between 1924 and 1936 this evening. I was having disconnects last evening as well. This morning, between 4 and 6 am, I played with no issues and I did not reset any of my networking components.

Hi Morio!

Can you get a WinMTR report while you're having these DCs:

  • First, download the WInMTR program
  • To run this you’ll want to right click on the .exe and select run as admin or you’ll likely get an error.
  • In the “Host” field you want to put in the server IP address: 12.129.222.10
  • Click Start and now we want to run this while you’re playing the game. So go ahead and log in.
  • Let this run for roughly 10-20 minute intervals while you play until you start to lag or DC. By this I basically mean play for 10-20 minutes if you don’t DC stop it and start the WinMTR again. That way we can have about 10-20 minutes worth of connection information while the game is having latency or DC.
  • Once you’re sure that you have the ~10-20 minutes of latency/DCs recorded. Press the stop button and just select the option for “Export TEXT”.
  • Save the file as something easy to remember on the desktop and post here.

    This is showing there is a 30% loss of data starting right after the modem, so this could be an issue anywhere from the modem to that first node. What this means for you is you're going to want to contact Comcast. Likely you'll want to also give them this WinMTR to show that the connection lost over 200 test packets during this test and it continued after that 2nd hop where it originated.
