Welcome, nephalem, to the Patch 2.4.1 PTR!

This upcoming patch features a slew of new features and items for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. For more information on the scope of Patch 2.4.1, please check out our latest patch notes here.

In order to help guide your testing efforts, we are currently looking for focused feedback discussions on a variety of topics.


To help keep feedback organized, we ask that you post your thoughts in the appropriate thread where applicable. If you have feedback that does not fall into one of the above categories, feel free to make a new thread!

This Focused Feedback thread is dedicated to revisions being made to Legendary Gems. Several gems are having their powers or values tweaked or redesigned in Patch 2.4.1. We were finding very little variety in which gems were being used. These changes are intended to nudge some gems into being more specialized or simply perform better at their intended function.

For more details on what changes we made to Legendary Gems, please see our PTR Patch Notes.

We are looking for feedback on the following Legendary Gems:

  • Bane of the Powerful
  • Enforcer
  • Gem of Efficacious Toxin
  • Gogok of Swiftness
  • Mirinae, Teardrop of the Starweaver
  • Moratorium
  • Pain Enhancer
  • Simplicity's Strength
  • Taeguk
  • Wreath of Lightning
  • Zei's Stone of Vengeance

Please note that while we are not looking at making changes to other Legendary Gems for Patch 2.4.1, we may revisit them at a later date.

Here are a few questions to get you started:

  • Which Legendary Gem(s) are you testing?
    • Are you currently using these Legendary Gems on live?
    • How does this gem feel compared to the live version?
    • Are there any other improvements to the gem's usability that you would like to see?
  • Please provide a link to your profile or build
    • If you're using items you found on PTR, consider using a site like D3 Planner to plot out your character
    • If you are using an item that is new on PTR, please let us know!
