Howdy!

Error 3007 and 3005 can occur when a computer is unable to maintain a stable connection to our Battle.net servers. The issue with this error is that the problem can be at the computer level, ISP level or server level. At this time I do not see any major reports the Diablo III servers are unstable or having connection issues, sever issues would generally disconnect everyone as well.

Since some of you reported this issues started after 2.4 we do want to check it out and get this looked into. As MetalJet666 reported Secondary Logon is one step that has helped resolve this issue. So let's create a baseline of troubleshooting and then collect some data on why this issue is occurring!

Step 1) Power Cycle your network, this will refresh your connection to your internal devices and ISP.

Step 2) Flush your DNS cache following the steps Here.

Step 3) Try out GoogleDNS Here.

Step 4) Joining General chat can help keep your connection active. To join the General chat channel:
Log in to Diablo III.
Click the cogwheel icon in the chat box on the left side of the screen.
Click Join Public Chat.
Click General.

Step 5) Make sure Windows Secondary Logon is enabled, which Battle.net Agent requires to run correctly.

Step 6) Try playing in Selective Startup, this will close down background programs and help rule out most third party issues.

Retest! If the issue continues please get back to us with the following:

1) How fast does the 3007/3005 error show up? Randomly while playing or directly after login?

2) Step 1) A WinMTR test shows your connection to our servers over time instead of a snap shot, that a pathping or tracert can offer us. This is great at picking up fluctuating connection issues such as your latency spiking up and down or why disconnects are occurring:

1. Download WinMTR (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Network-Tools/Network-Testing/WinMTR.shtml)
2. Unzip the file to your desktop
3. Open the WinMTR folder and select the 32 or 64 bit version. Choose whichever one corresponds to your version of Windows. Run the WinMTR.
4. Type the IP under “host”: 12.129.222.10
5. Click “start” and open the game. Wait until you experience the latency and let the test run for another 10 minutes before clicking “stop”.
6. Click “Copy text to clipboard” and paste it in your reply thread within code blocks.

Thank you!
