Hardknock #1263 | D3 Communities - Unable to join(1) | Category: Technical SupportOctober-31-2015 11:56 PM PDT (9 years ago) |
Over the last week I've been unable to join various public communities (ones that I was already a member of previous to that). Examples being Reddit, Rift it Forward, and Seasonal Rifting. I see no pattern as to which ones just stopped working. I really thought this was something from the downtime, but it has been 4-5+ days now and it is getting worse. These are not ones that I was banned from or anything, and they seemed to mostly all happen at once (until recently it got worse). I thought it would resolve itself, but it seems that more and more are ending up that way. I tried leaving them and rejoining, but it did nothing. I have spoken to others in the few communities I am still able to communicate with, and their result has been the same for the people who had the same issue. The communities I am having issues with show weird traits, some of them do not even show an icon to join/leave their chat. Others show an icon to join or leave the chat, even if I am not actually in the chat, and clicking it will tell me that I am already joined, even if I am not. I am going to link a screenshot for reference of what the icons look like, for reference, clicking on the GREATER RIFT 50 or 60 plus to join the chat, it tells me that I am already in it, but I am not at all. I can neither post nor read anything from those communities. Others like Reddit, Seasonal, etc are available as far as everyone else has told me, so I do not think it has anything to do with the communities themselves. http://i.imgur.com/FDIjyJA.jpg |

Hey Hardknock! This is something that is already being looked into by the Development team. Omrakos provided an update on a similar thread: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/19621652075#2 Tuesdae, We're looking into the reports about being unable to join communities. We'll post an update when we have more information to provide. Unfortunately, there's no time frame I can give you right now as to when it will be resolved. |
