| Has anyone else encountered this? I am running the new El Capitan 10.11 update and have always played in Windowed mode. Now with the update, if I tab out or run a program in the background, Diablo lags tremendously. I close the window, the lag clears up? Any ideas? | ||

| Falseprophet, there's a setting that can control background FPS - it's possible this setting is limiting your draw rate in windowed mode. Disabling it or raising the FPS Cap may help. 1. Open the Options > Video settings menu. 2. Next to Max Background FPS raise the slider or uncheck the box. 3. Click Apply or Accept to finalize the change.
