After posting a few times with no response here is the crash log. D3, hearthstone, and HoTS all crash after pressing play. WoW works on the other hand.

Archaick,

Could you please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder.

Archaick,

Well, since you say you've played before, Ill have to assume it wasn't with Windows 10 as that's a new operating system just released a month ago. Also, since you have the same problem in another game, you'd have to agree it's not a problem with Diablo III.

It may just be that your system isn't fully compatible with Windows 10 and you might want to consider rolling it back to what you had prior to upgrading.

Other than that, I see you have a few devices with really old device drivers. You'd want to check with the various manufacturers of the devices and see if they've released new drivers or not first.

One thing I'd try now though is to set your desktop resolution to match what you have the game set to use. 1280 x 720

Enabling vsync in the game may help as well. To do that, open the D3Prefs.txt file again and edit this line

Vsync "0"

to

Vsync "1"

Archaick,

Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics
Driver Date/Size: 3/11/2013

FriendlyName: Integrated Webcam
DriverDateEnglish: 5/14/2010 (may not be accurately displayed)

FriendlyName: AVerMedia 7231 Analog Capture
DriverDateEnglish: 6/11/2010 (may not be accurately displayed)

Your Touchpad also looks like it's using drivers from 2010

Before reverting back to Windows 7, try changing your current video drivers for your NVIDIA GeForce GT 435M. Try the version that was released before what you have now, 353.62.

When installing them, use the Custom and Clean Install options. Just install the graphic drivers and none of the optional components.

Archaick,

Should I completely uninstall and reinstall them?

You just did. Unless the driver installation didn't work, there's no reason to install them again. If you post a fresh dxdiag report, we can see whether the drivers were updated or not.

Archaick,

Ok, the drivers were installed. We've seen reports where the newer ones, 355.60, were causing various problems including crashing sometimes which is why I suggested an earlier release.

I'd still look into updating the other drivers I mentioned. You can probably skip the Intel HD for now though since it seems to run the game ok. If you can't find updated drivers, you might try disabling the device in the Windows Device manager and see if has any effect. You can always re-enable them later.

Another thing you might try is rebooting under selective startup mode.
