Is it me, or the game is performing worse and worse over lenghty periods of time?. Initially, when RoS came out, the game was performing at 30 fps without a hitch (outside of the connectivity) with the following build: GPU: GeForce 9800 GT+ CPU: i7 RAM: 6g. HDD: 750+ g. Due to a burn out on the GPU around 5 months ago, I replaced it with a GeForce 750 for the time being until I can get my hands on a better one and replace the MoBo. The game initially ran at nearly 60 fps with the highest settings. But as the months went by, patches, and maintenance tuesdays, the fps has severely and steadily dropped. As of right now, the game runs at a measly 6 to 10 fps at average settings (little clutter, Vsync, low shadows, no reflections, etc). I have all drivers updated (GPU, BiOS, W7, etc), I haven't added any software since then, and keep the insides fairly clean (DataVac does wonders to keep the PC squeaky clean). Any help would be appreciated. |

Ozz0912, Please post your DXDIAG file (Not the MSInfo) so we can get more information about your computer. Here's a support article that will show you how to get the DXDIAG: Obtaining System Files Once you have the DXDIAG file, open it and copy/paste the entire file into your next reply. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Customer Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Ozz0912, Let's try uninstalling the video driver and reinstalling an older video driver to see if that helps. To uninstall the current driver, you are going to want to use a program called Display Driver Uninstaller. This program will ensure that all previous driver files are completely removed. Here's a link where the Display Driver Uninstaller program can be downloaded. Once you have that downloaded and installed, try the following steps: 1. Run Display Driver Uninstaller. 2. You will be asked if you want to reboot into safe mode, click on "No". 3. Select "Nvidia" from the "Select Graphic Driver" drop down menu. 4. Click on the "Clean and restart" button. After the system restarts, the video driver should be completely uninstalled so the graphics should look larger than usual. That's normal and it'll fix itself when the video driver is reinstalled. Now that the driver is gone, we can go ahead with reinstalling it. Here's a link for the driver download: Nvidia Driver When you are going to install the driver I would like for you to select "Custom Install" > Uncheck everything except for the graphics driver > Check the "Perform a clean install" box > Continue with the install. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Customer Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Ozz0912, Let's check the CPU and Graphics card to see if either is overheating. Here's how to do that: 1. Download and install the Speccy system monitoring tool. *** I provided the direct download link, but if you would like more information about the tool itself, please feel free to check out Piriform's website.*** 2. Run Speccy before launching the game. Check the current temperatures for the CPU and the Graphics card, and write the temperatures down. 3. Leave Speccy running , start the game and play for about 15 minutes. Go back and check the temperatures again. Let me know the before and after temperature results. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Customer Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Ozz0912, Let's log out of the Battle.net Desktop App and try deleting the Battle.net Cache file to see if that helps. Check out this support article for steps on how to do that: Deleting the Battle.net Cache Folder (PC) Once that is done, test out the game and let me know what happens. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Customer Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |
