Crazyalbo, Please post your DXDIAG file so we can get more information about your computer. Here's a support article that will show you how to get the DXDIAG: Obtaining System Files Once you have the DXDIAG file, open it and copy/paste the entire file into your next reply. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Crazyalbo, Let's try uninstalling and reinstalling the video driver to see if that helps. To uninstall the current driver, you are going to want to use a program called Display Driver Uninstaller. This program will ensure that all previous driver files are completely removed. Here's a link where the Display Driver Uninstaller program can be downloaded. Once you have that downloaded and installed, try the following steps: 1. Run Display Driver Uninstaller. 2. You will be asked if you want to reboot into safe mode, click on "No". 3. Select "Nvidia" from the "Select Graphic Driver" drop down menu. 4. Click on the "Clean and restart" button. After the system restarts, the video driver should be completely uninstalled so the graphics should look larger than usual. That's normal and it'll fix itself when the video driver is reinstalled. Now that the driver is gone, we can go ahead with reinstalling it. Here's a link for the driver download: Nvidia Driver When you are going to install the driver I would like for you to select "Custom Install" > Uncheck everything except for the graphics driver > Check the "Perform a clean install" box > Continue with the install. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Crazyalbo, When the crash occurs, are you seeing a message that says something like "driver has crash and recovered"? ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Crazyalbo, That type of error is called a TDR error and it's actually caused by how Windows interacts with the driver. Here's a post from Nvidia with more information on TDR errors. As you can see from that article, there are a lot of different causes and troubleshooting steps to address those issues. However, from what I've seen, the most effective solution is to underclock the video card a bit, or if the card is still under warranty, having it RMA'd is another option. With that said, let's get a little more detailed information about your video card to see what we can try. Here's how: 1. Download and install the GPU-z program. 2. Launch GPU-Z and let it run for about 5 minutes before starting up the game. 3. Leave GPU-Z running and run the game for about 10 minutes. 4. Close the game. 5. Click on GPU-Z's "Graphics Card" tab. 6. Click on the Camera icon located on the top right corner. 7. Click on the "Upload to a free image hosting" button. 8. Copy and paste the first link into your next forum reply. 9. Repeat steps 6 through 9 for the "Sensors" tab. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Crazyalbo, It looks like the card is overclocked a bit, and that's probably a factory over clock. Those are the types of overclocks that we normally see these types of crashes. Can you download MSI Afterburner, run it, take a screenshot, upload it to an image sharing site, and provide me with a link? ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Crazyalbo, Yes, was going to try under clocking it by a bit to see if that helps. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |
