Diablo is the only game so far that is causing my drivers to crash, and its mostly during loading screens and sometimes in battle when large amounts of damage appears. Can we get some support now that win 10 is officially out? posting dxdiag in next post. |

Layne, Let's try uninstalling and reinstalling the video driver to see if that helps. To uninstall the current driver, you are going to want to use a program called Display Driver Uninstaller. This program will ensure that all previous driver files are completely removed. Here's a link where the Display Driver Uninstaller program can be downloaded. Once you have that downloaded and installed, try the following steps: 1. Run Display Driver Uninstaller. 2. You will be asked if you want to reboot into safe mode, click on "No". 3. Select "Nvidia" from the "Select Graphic Driver" drop down menu. 4. Click on the "Clean and restart" button. After the system restarts, the video driver should be completely uninstalled so the graphics should look larger than usual. That's normal and it'll fix itself when the video driver is reinstalled. Now that the driver is gone, we can go ahead with reinstalling it. Here's a link for the driver download: Nvidia Driver When you are going to install the driver I would like for you to select "Custom Install" > Uncheck everything except for the graphics driver > Check the "Perform a clean install" box > Continue with the install. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Customer Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Cuber, Your issue is being caused by a known bug with AMD drivers. Here's a link to a user submitted workaround: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/17345256282#10 The workaround linked is not supported by Blizzard, so know that you'll be using it at your own risk. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Customer Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Cuber, 15.7 is suppose to come with Directx12, mine says 11.2 however Windows 10 supports DX12, but your hardware doesn't. After checking around online, your hardware's features are going to be limited to 11.2. My issue isn't getting to Desolate Sands however. And I actually do have the 2 files (atiumd64.dll and atiumdag.dll) in my D3 directory. The crashes that you are getting are ATI related crashes that are linked to the Desolate Sands AMD bug. You may have those files in your D3 folder, but if you haven't already, I'd still try doing what the other user suggested because that workaround has been fixing most AMD crashes. ______________________________________________________ I'm available Monday through Friday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Customer Support Contact Information Got some feedback? |

Goober, If you have an AMD card, you should be using AMD's latest Crimson Edition drivers. If you have a legacy AMD card not supported by those drivers, try the beta Crimson Edition instead. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download You should not be using any drivers between 13.12 and 14.9 right now really. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos |
