I click play and then I get this: D155EFE2-0C92-4030-9C94-488D35445526 I'm tried a repair on the system, but it says everything is fine. Thoughts?

Pinero, 2.2.0.30894 for me The current version is 2.2.1.31666. Your current version not matching with the most recent game's current version would explain why are you getting these errors. Ah I see now.. I had to system restore recently.. Must have removed the data.. Yes, that could be what caused the game version to revert to an older one. To resolve this, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling D3.
