Hello,

yes, this is another cannot change language thread I am afraid.

I'm trying to change Diablo III from German to English. Since my clan communicates in English it is important to me, that we can communicate with the right terms.

I have been looking around in the forum and also got some help from CS on Twitter, but no success so far.

I already tried to:
  • change Battle.net app to set to English (success)
  • use additional command line with "-locale=enGB" or "-locale enGB" (I have seen both versions in the forum) (Is there enUS as well?)
  • I set the game settings to English. That lead to download some files. But there has been no language change.
  • I tried the Reset In-Game Options
    • and
  • Repair Option
  • I even reinstalled the whole game.


My system's language is German (Nope, I am not going to change my whole work flow and system language for a game), I am using OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.3

What can I do?

Hey AvisAmanda,
Can you try -locale enUS instead of enGB.
