As per requested via Twitter contact, I have run a pathping. Here are my results. * A little history, over the last 1-2 weeks my husband and I have been experiencing latency issues within Diablo and other battle.net run games, everything else works fine, ISP had been contacted and no issues have been found their side or ours, Router has been replaced within the last 6 months also. Battle.net services are the only thing affected, mainly resulting in sudden high ping lasting anywhere from a few minutes to almost 30 making our main games Diablo and WoW completely unplayable during these times along with some outright disconnects. * Pathping: Tracing route to 185.60.112.157 over a maximum of 30 hops 0 xxx.getinternet.no [192.168.0.102] 1 192.168.0.1 2 10.236.128.1 3 cm-84.208.41.64.getinternet.no [84.208.41.64] 4 ae7-0.no-323-rt1.get.no [80.232.88.47] 5 ae10-0.san-peer2.osl.no.ip.tdc.net [80.232.88.46] 6 ae0-0.asd3nqp1.nl.ip.tdc.net [83.88.23.202] 7 80.249.208.83 8 37.244.10.33 9 185.60.112.157 Computing statistics for 225 seconds... I am pretty much at a loss, but the fact that the game becomes unplayable during these spikes is rather frustrating. Any help on the issue would be very much appreciated. |

Hell Athenas88, Thank you for posting your data. Could you please add a traceroute? Sorry, i was wrong there on twitter, mixed both pathping an tracert up, sorry again. Your pathping shows some 100 % loss there, it doesn't have to be bad and could just be a security feature, but you never know. Please add a tracert here as well. Hello again Athenas88, Yes, this looks quite normal and since the servers are not acting up as well, there must be a different issue somewhere. Could you please post a dxdiag and MSInfo here? If the data is too big to be posted on the forum directly, you can use a page like pastebin.com and post the link to it here then. Hello again, There is a new driver available for your Realtek network adapter https://www.techspot.com/downloads/drivers/essentials/realtek-pcie-lan/, you should give this one a try. I assume that you are connecting via cable to your router, do you? If not, you should do that. Please also do the following powercycle your router. Just to make sure that it hasn't been running for the past years. Kind regards _______________________________________ What's your opinion? https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Kiemmaki |
