Marked As Solution
Hello everyone, since today i can't start a game on Europe. Until last nights server update I could play with wine under fedora. Earlier this morning I wanted to do some last rifts before the new season starts but when trying to start a game ("Start game") I receive an error 3006 followed by a disconnect (3007). Login and retrieving the hero list still works fine. But it seems any action after the login causes the 3006. (Like switching heroes or deleting one, starting a game, joining a game.) When logged in, version says v2.4.1.36595. However, when i switch to "the Americas" I can create a hero and start a game. Version is the same (v2.4.1.36595) and as far as i know on the Americas the season will start today. So it should be the same game version on client and server side... I know that Linux is not officially supported, but from reading in this forum I know there are a lot of other Linux-Players here. Does anyone of you have the same issue? I do not know much about wine, so I would really appreciate some help on this. I've already tried different wine versions (1.7.15, 1.7.55 and 1.9.8) and I used PlayOnLinux to install the game. Thanks in advance for any help, and if you need further information on my system, i will gladly hand them in... Edit: Bypassing the router works for now, but I am not really happy with this solution. Particularly since everything was fine before the patch, and I still can play on US without the bypass... Click here to see the solution |

Hello stubsi, I'm afraid Linux is not a supported operative system for Diablo III, so we cannot really help here. However, I'll leave the thread open in case any other Linux users have any input or advice. :) ______________________________________________________ Got feedback about the support I'm providing?
