Gürkan #2234 | Connection issue after the bombing in Turkey(1) | Category: Technical SupportMarch-19-2016 10:55 AM PDT (9 years ago) |
Hi all, First of all I'm very sorry to use this place in order to seek help. This morning, in Turkey, there was a bombing attack in Taksim / Istanbul. And after the bombing our government reduced our Internet connection speed and blocked the access to lots of websites in order to stop the false and exaggerated news about bombing. All day It was very hard to connect to any site or to play any online game. I was playing with my Hardcore character and decided to run a rift but after 4-5 seconds I was logged out. I pressed "alt+tab" to see If I still have connection or not. Then I googled something and after 2-3 seconds the site responded. Then "Alt+tab" again to play Diablo but the game was still frozen. And few moments later "the lag" ended and my character was dead. I know that there are 0 excuses about the restorations of Hardcore characters but is it that strict or can you guys check the moment that the my hardcore character's death moment? If any authorized Diablo III admin(or whatever you call it) can screen/investigate the moment my character died, he/she can easily tell that It was due to "national internet outage" Because "Blizzard" is a rational platform I'm pretty sure that they have some criterias about these kind of problmes. I'm looking forward for your replies and assistance. |

Hello Gürkan, I'm sorry to read about the loss of your character. Unfortunately, the death of a hardcore hero is a permanent game event, and our Support Team has no means to bypass this mechanic and resurrect a dead hardcore character. _________________________________________________________ Feedback?
