Maelstrom #2363 | Game asks me to get new patch but doesn't dow(1) | Category: Mac Technical SupportMay-19-2015 9:38 AM PDT (10 years ago) |
Hello, When I try to play on Diablo 3 (I play US realm but play from Europe), it now (was fine this morning) tells me that the game will close and automatically download a new patch, however, it doesn't do such thing... Thanks
It finally decided to download...
Nvm, it doesn't download, it stays stucked at 73.25MB now...
Maelstrom, can you close the Battle.net App and then close the Agent process?
1. Open the Activity Monitor. 2. Locate Agent and click on the Force Quit button. 3. Close any remaining Agent processes. 4. Relaunch Battle.net ______________________________ Technical Support: Sunday-Thursday, 12pm - 9pm Pacific Time How am I doing? || Support Agent Feedback ||

Glaxigrav, this is the same problem I am experiencing this morning. Trying to patch 2.2.1 it was initially fine then I noticed it had stopped downloading (from the launcher app). Quit and restarted the launcher, then it said 10.61mb remaining at 0kb/s. I followed your instructions and force quit the Agent (not responding) - had to do this a few times as it was immediately not responding on relaunch - eventually Agent seemed ok, but the launcher was still not progressing. Each time I rince and repeat, the launcher app hangs at either: "10.61mb remaining..." "Initializing" "Fetching..." (can't remember what it said after the fetching) or "Waiting on another installation or update" But in a nut shell, no download occurs. Now in saying that, the launcher also has a pending update for World Of Warcraft, which was on auto download when I launched first thing this morning (WoW and HS on auto update, D3 was not). I paused that DL and started D3 and the problems occurred. No idea if thats the causative link or not, but I am unable to continue the WoW update (its a background DL for an upcoming patch) nor can I resume the D3 update. I have tried the Scan and Repair utility but all I get is "waiting for another game or update..." even though I have paused all updates. Following the advice in the following Blizzard thread "[Sticky] Patch Day, the B.net App, CASC and You :)" Has also proven fruitless. I am running Yosemite 10.10.3 Help?
