So i updated to 2.4 a while ago, played for a few hours, logged out, came back and when i now launch the game it asks for the update, even tho the game is up to date, repairing does nothing. Anyone else having this problem? |

Hi guys. If this happens to you, the best thing to do is simply restart your computer and try again. If that doesn't work however, exit the game and Battle.net Desktop App then follow step 1 in this support article and test again. If you still see either the Diablo III client or Battle.net App still showing in Task Manager, you should close those too. Hello all, I've been running some tests on my cliente here. When you close the game, the task might stay open and visible on the task manager for a bit. However, in all my tests it closed itself after 1-2 minutes. I've noticed that, if you let the task close by itself instead of manually closing it, most of the times the game won't tell you there's a patch available next time you log in. At least on my experience. In general, some steps that seem to help people with the issue: - Restarting computer - Deleting Battle.net Cache and Tools folders - Repairing the game - Closing the Battle.net App and launching it as admin We will pass this information on so it can be looked into, but please keep in mind that it's important to try the troubleshooting steps, since they've helped some players. ______________________________________________________ Got feedback about the support I'm providing? Thank you for posting all this information so far, everyone! At this point, seeing how many of players reporting this seem to be from the same geographical area, with Windows XP 32 bit, but different Internet Providers, I am curious how you all connect to the Diablo III servers? By this I specifically mean any kind of proxies, VPN options, anything that would change or modify your current connection to try and get a better response time from Diablo III? With this we're hoping to narrow down the specific cause even further.
