macbook pro cannot log in! Code 3007(1)Category: Mac Technical SupportMarch-29-2015 9:29 PM PDT (10 years ago) Go to Blizzard forum post
Hello there,

Started from this afternoon I have encountered the Code 3007 issue and I thought it was only my side of the problem and then I switched to my PC, which is connected on the same connection, and it can log in. I tried everything in the forum and reset my routers blah blah blah.

It still doesn't work. My girlfriend who is also a Mac user cannot connect. She lives on the otherside of the town. please advise what to do now?

Thank you,

Richard

This exact problem is happening to me as well. I am also a mac user. I can connect to the other servers (Europe and Asia) just not the Americas. I managed to connect last night but today I keep getting error 3007.

I'm glad I'm not the only person experiencing this. Everything was running fine about 6 hours ago...and then all of a sudden I was getting the:

LOST CONNECTION - Your connection to the Battle.net service has timed out. Please log in again. (Code 3007)

I can login to Battle.net just fine...it's when you click the "PLAY" option is when the message above appears.

Here's what I've tried so far:

Power cycled the modem and router. Uninstalled/Reinstalled both Battlenet app and D3 (ouch!). Tried everything from the forums concerning the Error Code 3007 (IE: removing the folder - macintosh hd\users\shared\battle.net and blizzard).

I tried to think outside the box and I plugged in my USB iPhone and tried connecting using Hotspot via Verizon Wireless and I was able to login just fine. Weird! I've narrowed it down to something related to either my wifi connection on my MacBook Pro or my AT&T Provider.

I'm just thankful that I'm not the only person having this issue. Please help and advise. Thanks!

Same here...I am in business trip in China. This morning (Monday - still Sunday afternoon in US) I logged in at 6AM without any issue, starting ~8AM I got the same error than you, and it continues.

Error reported: 2491FDF7-D8CA-4FDE-9B68-AF816704DC0E

I tried with my VPN from China to Singapore and it works (very slow but works)

Hello Everyone, we are investigating this issue, and we'll need some pathpings and other information to help diagnose it.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could post the following:

The more traces we have, the faster we can find out what's going on. Thank you!

1. Launch Activity Monitor
2. Launch game normally from launcher
3. Wait for "Cancel" button on Server Authentication window to become available
4. Click "Cancel" and wait for the window to disappear (So you can see login screen)
5. Go to Activity Monitor and force quit "Agent" (For me, it is also has a nice phrase "(Not Responding)")
6. Go back to the game and login
7. It should log you in, so you can enjoy the game

We're still working on the issue, but please do try the above steps and let us know how this goes.
