| Surviving high amounts of damage is all about the combination of damage reduction, healing, and total health. How much of one you need generally depends on how much you have of the others. It's also important to keep in mind what difficulty you're shooting for. Personally, I like to have somewhere around 450k health with 80 - 85% reduction via Armor, and another 70(ish)% reduction through resistances with my Barbarian. My recovery tends to sit at 850k - 1.1 million. It's a little overkill for Torment VI when you combine it with some kind of 50% mitigation (like what you get from Wrath of the Berserker - Striding Giant), but I tend to lean towards being defensive. | ||

Alright cool, thanks. It was so late when I typed this that I forgot to add: Along those lines, roughly how much armor and resist all should a Barb have? Ha! You asked a great question while I was writing my first response. :) | ||
