| So, here is my problem. I have 120Mbit/20Mbit internet, new 5Ghz ac router, I have like 40ms on Counter Strike GO when Streaming and being on TS. But here goes the problem. I connect to the game and sometimes I can play OK with latency about 55ms and everything is great, however most of the time I have pretty wierd lag. Everything in my world freeze and only I am able to move, I cant perfrom any action like using some skill and after some time of walking I can no longer continue to walk because of unloaded textures. BUT I play with my friend and he is not seing me in lag, when I press some skill he can see me using that skill, he can se me walking among the mobs and do stuff, but I am in the "frozen world". When I switch connection to my cellphone and connect via mobile data I can play without any kind of freezing/lags. Social stuff like chat, browsing profile is working just fine during that lag. So it is just frozen for my screen. So I don´t really know, what to do. I have pretty much same problem in Hearthstone (game will freeze, opponent see me going through cards but I cant do anything). | Hi there JimmyTulip, thanks for your post and providing us with useful data to help you with. I do have some additional questions though;
Is there any discernible pattern to the behaviour? Did you run the above tests while you were experiencing high latency ingame? Are you using a WiFi or wired connection to your router? Have you tried power-cycling your router? Is your router's firmware fully up to date? Could you post a Pathping below? | Thanks for the reply! I don't think that Pathping has actually completed properly. Could you run it again (while you're having issues ingame remember!) and let it run for several minutes?
