Siege #1368 | Very bad performance on GTX 960 4GB RAM(1) | Category: Technical SupportSeptember-15-2015 9:05 AM PDT (9 years ago) |
Hi! I was reading many threads that are similar to my problem, but none of suggested solutions that would help me. - I'm having a really bad perfomance and drop in FPS, much more below 5 FPS in multiplayer, and the game becomes unplayable which is frustrating. - Loading the game and areas takes pretty long too, and once I'm in I get annoying stutter, fps drop and game sometimes freezes for many seconds. - In single player game is playable, although it stutters and drops FPS too below around 20. I tried to reinstall the game, clear all game files from system, I downgraded the graphic drivers, installed new ones, repaired game files, I have recent Windows updates, etc... I did everything I found about this issue... and nothing. My rig is capable to run smoothly Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight, Dying Light, Hatred an other demanding new games - all in high/ultra details. So, I think it's not a problem within the hardware. Processor: i5 4690K RAM: 8GB Graphics: Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB System: Windows 7 64bit Internet speed: 40MB/s I haven't overlocked the CPU and GPU - computer is only 2 months old. NOTE: I'm also playing with same proc/ram setup but with 770 GTX in other place, and game runs smoothly. Does anyone have similar problem or found a solution? My PC is new, I bought it 2 months ago, and as far as I remember, there were no problems with the game before 2.3.0. Thanks for suggestions and help! |

Hmm, I must admit I'm puzzled Siege. Does the same thing happen even on lowest graphical settings? What's your ingame latency like when this happens? Have you tested on multiple characters? You might also want to try updating your audio drivers and this. |

OK, could you try this Siege:
This is basically making sure that Diablo III isn't putting your graphics card into a low power mode. ------------------------------------------------------------- Please click here to give me your feedback on this post! |

I know that you said you don't overclock Siege, but do you have Guru II installed? I'm wondering if it's auto-boosting the Gigabyte card and the game doesn't like that for some reason. To diagnose further, I need to ask for an MSInfo report. However, as there can be private data in there, it's best not to post it here. You could use a web-based paste tool you trust, post the link to it here and then immediately remove the link from the post (we can see previous edits) or you can open a support ticket here, attach the file, and have a chat with one of our Technical Support representatives directly about it. ------------------------------------------------------------- Please click here to give me your feedback on this post! |

I think you may have clicked on 'Save' there Siege instead of 'Export'. The output should just be a .txt file. ------------------------------------------------------------- Please click here to give me your feedback on this post! |

Could you make sure that Shadowplay is disabled Siege? ------------------------------------------------------------- Please click here to give me your feedback on this post! |
