Here is my situation: I turn on my laptop. I7 with SSD so all is good and fast and perfect. I open Battle.net. Opens up quick and all the little windows, etc pop up nicely. I click Play. D3 logo pops up in middle of my screen and before long D3 opens in all its glory. Now it says ''connecting to server'' - ''connected'', ''authenticating credentials''- ''authenticated'' and then comes the fun part - ''retrieving hero list'' -............................. either I get an error report 3005 or whatever or ''retrieved'' appears about a minute after waiting and then I get sent straight to my character selection screen where I get told try again and then no matter how much I try I can't get past that screen into the actual game. Now DON"T tell me this is a connection problem from my side, because my internet connection is 100%. I've gotten this same problem on Thursday and when it finally stopped I could play without incidence, until now that is. Please get back to me in a timely fashion so I can start to play this game again, and don't give me these pre-composed BS that you usually just copy and paste. I have only recently started playing again after months of being to busy with real life to play and would really like to get back on track, specially since I hear some talk of a possible second expansion. But I sure as Hell difficulty wont buy another blizzard product if this is the service I can expect and I'm sure I am not the only one who is fed up with these server problems. Hope to hear from you shortly. It's like the game does not want to load my hero list. Is there something wrong with my heroes or what? |

Hello ares77wa7god, Is your brother usually playing on the same region that you? Please, if you haven't yet, try the troubleshooting steps detailed on this article, including the advanced. We need to start with the basic troubleshooting in order to narrow down the reasons of the issue: battle.net/support/article/611 If the issue persists, please create a tracer and a pathping just after a disconnection and paste the results on this thread. In order to know where the issue is coming from, be it your side or our side, we need to troubleshoot, and we need the information I've asked for on my first response.
