Freke #2506 | Crashes (almost) consistently in GRifts(1) | Category: Technical SupportMay-2-2015 3:03 AM PDT (10 years ago) |
Since the arrival of the latest patch, my computer has started to freeze/crash during D3. It occurred on day 1, and then ever since. It's mostly in GRifts, especially higher level (35-44) is when it has happened. It starts with the game freezing for a short period (1-2 seconds) before it quits to desktop, with the game still running on the taskbar, with sound and the D3 cursor. I need to open Task Manager, where the game is listed as non-responsive, and force-close it from there. Then, if I fire it back up, within minutes, my computer does this funny little BSOD-impression and dies. I need to restart my computer after the first freeze to avoid this, but the result is nevertheless another freeze after playing for a little while. The first time(s) it happened, there was an error report regarding my screen card drivers ceasing to work. I'm on a good rig with an XFX Radeon HD7950 card... Please, help..... |
