ilsamsamchil #1839 | what is the sweetspot for armor and resist?(1) | Category: HardcoreAugust-12-2014 1:19 AM PDT (10 years ago) |
I see a lot of barbs going for warcry life%+regen over +resist. And I thought this forum might be a great place to ask the question since you guys are the only people playing d3 that goes over 5 mil toughness. So the question : When should I start focusing more on regen/life over armor and resist for toughness and sustainability? Also is there any viable shield build for barb atm? I have 15mil toughness after warcry and sometimes I still dip under 40% during torment 2 and this worries me because there's no way i can live through a disconnect at this point. And How about followers? is Maximus + Enchantress still the way to go or is the new and improved Templar better now for the purpose of dc proofing low torment? |

To get the best bang out of your stats follow the 1:10 rule. The 'sweetspot' between armor and res is different for each class, imho. That being said, the real 'sweetspot' is not simply all about math and numbers but how well YOU feel about how your toon handles damage I'd imagine for Barbs and Crusaders, there should be no question on the subject because All res would always be much better unless you are going for a armor-specific build with the +% armor skill buffs, although I do not see the point of that I’ll be rolling a Hardcore Crusader once Seasons hit, and this info is super useful. I have a lot to learn from the HC community. Thanks for keeping this thread constructive and helping out your fellow players! |
