Welcome, nephalem, to the Patch 2.2.0 PTR!

This upcoming patch features numerous quality of life and item revisions for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. For more information on the full scope of Patch 2.2.0, please check out our latest PTR patch notes here and our Patch Preview here.

We want to make the most of your testing efforts, so while we welcome any and all feedback, we are currently looking for focused discussions on the following topics:

  • Updates to existing Class Sets
    • Immortal King's Call
    • Roland's Legacy
    • Natalya's Vengeance
    • Inna's Mantra
    • Raiment of a Thousand Storms
    • Zunimassa's Haunt
    • Firebird's Finery
    • Tal Rasha's Elements

  • New Class Sets
    • Unhallowed Essence (Demon Hunter)
    • Delsere's Magnum Opus (Wizard)



For this first PTR, we've left out the Wrath of the Wastes (Barbarian) set as it's still receiving iteration. While you're welcome to test it out in its current state, we’re not yet looking for feedback on it and you should expect changes in a future PTR patch.

To help guide your feedback, we ask that you use the following format:

  • Name of the set you are testing:
  • What do you like most?
  • What do you like least?
  • How do you feel about the playstyle provided when this set is fully equipped?
  • Approximate power level (Highest Greater Rift reached, Torment difficulty played, etc.)
    • Do you feel this compares with other sets for your class? Why or why not?
  • Additional comments:

Hi guys, just wanted to drop in and say thanks for the feedback so far, it is very helpful. I will keep an eye on this thread for future feedback, so please don't hesitate to share your experiences with the new and updates class sets :-)

I've noticed that some sets aren't getting as much feedback as other sets, in particular Firebird's Finery. This is understandable of course as the two other Wizard sets are getting a lot of attention, but if anyone happens to be testing Firebird's Finery on the PTR, then please don't hesitate to drop a few lines with your feedback on the set :-)

[Edit] This doesn't mean that we are no longer interested in feedback on the other sets, far from it ;-)

Just as you look for firebird's feedback i hope you take geenral feedback. Just because of the existence of new sets, some changes would be good in the old ones, even if the old one worked well.


Certainly, we also look for more general feedback, and yes we do agree that more old sets and items need attention as well. This thread however is dedicated to focused feedback on the specific sets mentioned in the original post.

If you wish to share feedback on sets not listed in this thread, the please create a new thread about the set in question :-)
