Let’s assume everything goes bad… instead of having
  • Hatred = Damage
  • Discipline = Defense and Hunting (tactic)
  • We are stuck with cooldowns and be forced into using cdr...

    I want to discuss primary Hatred Generators.

    Let’s go back to Patch.1.08.
    1.60 aps 1hand-crossbow x 1.15 = 1.84 aps = 2x attack per second
    +3/attack = 10 hatred per second = 12.5 sec to max globe
    +4/attack = 12 hatred per second = 10.4 sec to max globe
    +6/attack = 16 hatred per second = 7.81 sec to max globe
    +8/attack = 20 hatred per second = 6.25 sec to max globe
    Those were the options we had using a primary Hatred Generator.

    Nothing from that has changed except
    +6/attack now spread into 3 runes (up from 2 by adding Serrated Arrow –HA-)
    +8/attack removed -- Grenadier passive bonus

    Should be obvious this is a 40% cut to Hatred generation and we receive further generation rate decrease due to the lack of attack speed (about 30% less). Overall about 60% slower Hatred generation from primary Hatred Generator. As a result, using +3/attack will felt like it isn’t enough and +6/attack is about right (12.5/7.81 ~= 60% difference).

    Taking the above reason I have posted my suggestion in the PTR

    The changes I wish to see are (what you will find in that post):
  • Replace +3 with +6
  • Redesign +6 runes
  • i.e. Serrated Arrow cause bleed stack on enemy
  • Evasive Fire will cost Discipline on backflip instead of cooldown
  • Evasive Fire generates 4 Hatred (no change)
  • -- but has a chance to also restore Discipline on attack
  • Grenade generates 3 Hatred +1/additional mob hit up to 8 (hit 6 mobs)
  • These changes should take away the feeling that Hatred generation is slow.

    Our Hatred generation can be further increase by item passive (double base regen with 3x1.33 or 2x1.5+dual-Archery/bat) and its scarcity can be reduced by using rcr (resource cost reduction) - My personal most efficient is 30%, which can be achieved by using 30% Cindercoat, a Pride’s Fall, Sash of Knives + shoulder, weapon, ppt = 31.44% (max). Or use HPMY to gain +25% faster generation.

    Ultimately you can also have all of the above:
    +31.44% +30% +30% = +66.41% rcr
    +25% HPMY
    +4 Hatred/sec (1hand+1hand/quiver/SoJ(ptr))
    at 1.84 aps & +6/attack should =
    8x1.25 + 6x2x1.25 = 25 Hatred/sec
    … while all skill cost halved (fire is 1/3 cost).
    about 2 endless Cluster Arrow per second (hatred pool should not drop if doing 1-to-1).

    Our cost per generation is FINE
    … only if we have many generators that return +6 Hatred per attack.
