These historical charts list the Legendary and Set items that were the most popular across all classes in Diablo III during patch 2.2.
There are three charts of items, representing three groups of level 70 Diablo III characters:
1. Most Popular Items in the Top 25% - Softcore level 70 characters who were in the top 25% of elite monster kills.
2. Most Popular Items in the Lower 75% - Softcore level 70 characters who were in the lower 75% of elite monster kills.
3. Most Popular Items in Hardcore - Hardcore level 70 characters, regardless of elite monster kills.
The Legendary and Set items in these charts are primarily items that dropped in Reaper of Souls during patch 2.2. The exceptions are the items that are marked as (Legacy). Those are older editions of Legendary or Set items from previous patches, that were no longer dropping during patch 2.2.
