Diablo III Popular Builds and Skills
Archive for Patch 1.0.8
  • Note: This is historical data, from the top level 60 characters who played during the Diablo III PC patch 1.0.8.
  • This is useful data for players on the console Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of Diablo III, to see the most popular level 60 skills and items in the console Diablo III. The items and skills in these charts are similar to the current Diablo III patch on PS3 and Xbox 360.
  • Players of Diablo III on the PC (Windows and OS X) should see the Popular Builds and Skills charts for the data from the current Diablo III PC patch.
  • Choose a hero class above to see historical data of the most popular level 60 builds, active skills, and passive skills during Diablo III PC patch 1.0.8.
  • These charts were calculated from the data of over 3 million Diablo III character profiles, gathered at the end of patch 1.0.8. There are multiple levels of scans, that generate data used in the Charts and Guides and this Popular Builds and Skills section. We scan BattleTag accounts and their characters daily, to have current data for our charts and guides. See the Account and Character Profiles overview for more information about the collection of this data.
  • This Popular Builds and Skills data was restricted to the following characters:
    1. Only level 60 characters.
    2. No characters who have unfilled skill slots; all 6 Active skill slots, 6 Rune slots, and 3 Passive skill slots must be chosen.
    3. Only characters who played in the last 3 months of patch 1.0.8a.
  • The most popular builds (or specs) are listed for each class, along with the ten most popular variants of the primary builds. Here's how it works:
    • A build variant has exactly the same active skills, but slightly different passive skills or runes, than the primary build.
    • The variants all have three or fewer changes of passive skills or runes, compared to the primary build.
    • The percentage shown lists the popularity of characters who use a primary build, as well as the combined total of that primary build and it's ten variants.
  • The Popular Builds and Skills data is split into three charts to reflect different groups of characters:
    1. Softcore characters at level 60, who either have no Paragon Levels or are at Paragon Level 1 to 49.
    2. Softcore characters at level 60, who have reached Paragon Level 50 to 100.
    3. Hardcore level 60 characters, regardless of Paragon Level.
  • Keep in mind that this is all historic data. The current Popular Builds and Skills charts have the most up to date info.
See the Diablo III Charts & Guides for all the data from the current patch.
