| So, i played Diablo 3 since it came out, never had any problems with it. Today out of no where my monitor just goes black ( like it resets or something) sound keeps playing in background, but monitor is still black and pc is not responding in any way and also it starts to make lot of buzzing sound really loud never heard it do that before, so i am forced to manually reset it on a button. I started game again played for like hour or so and then again same thing happened exactly same like first time. I am on Windows 7 and always run everything on high never had problems, i even lowered everything after it happened first time, but still same thing happened again. | ||

| Guys, This whole 'I've tried every game in existence so it MUST be Diablo III' thing is really unproductive. You have to be open to troubleshooting options or the issue will never be resolved. As there are millions of people playing Diablo III without this problem and as we haven't been able to reproduce it internally, it is highly likely that the cause will be a hardware issue/conflict. It's not a certainty, for sure, and this doesn't mean we're 'passing the book' or 'ignoring the issue', we just want to do the sensible thing and prioritise your targeted diagnostics. Now, we're not seeing any major issues with the data you've provided so far, nor can we see any patterns in particular. Temperature is certainly a starting point. What kind of temps are you guys getting? Have you tried limiting the ingame FPS to something really low to see if that makes any difference? One other thing I'd like to get a pulse survey on (for curiosity sake) is security software. What are you guys using? Have you tried to disable it and see if the same thing happens? Thanks a lot for your understanding guys. Please don't bite our heads off, we just want to help you get back in to Sanctuary. =) __________________________________ Please click here to give me your feedback! | Hey guys. Unfortunately, we have not been able to replicate this internally. All we can recommend at this point is physical hardware troubleshooting through an elimination process. Once again, you should also ensure that all of your drivers are up to date, as well as your motherboard's BIOS and operating system. __________________________________ Please click here to give me your feedback! | Thanks for your input Raleina and RD20. If anyone else has experienced and resolved this issue in the past, feel free to post about it as it may help others. __________________________________ Please click here to give me your feedback!
