| Hi guys, It seems to me that Blizz went overboard (again) with this new patch. At first it seemed pretty great, new 'smart' lootsystem, cursed chests, new layout, ... Great! However, after playing a few days, it seems to me that we went 2 steps back again instead of 1 step forward. Here are the main points that bother me. Droprates Droprates are absolutely awful! Where I use to have 5-10 legendaries per hour (give or take a little), I'm now lucky that I catch just one. This afternoon I went 5 hours for 2 legendaries and ... they were still rubbish! Or RNGeezus isn't on my side or nothing has changed, my gear remains by far best over what I find. New rare weapons are just useless. An other thing that bothered me is where I found those legendaries. It used to be so that you got most of your legendaries of trashmobs, now most come from stupid chests. Why should I even bother to kill the minions anymore, they hardly drop anything. I've killed the butcher on torment III and got 5 blues, I've opened resplendid chests and got 5 blues. I mean, what's the point again? I want to find my legendaries by killing monsters, not by opening chests ... Mobdensety Mobdensety has gone down to the level of prior patch 1.0.8 and we are all back to keepdepths level II again, over and over an over but without legendaries, again ... Nice Dead of some builds My 2 preferred chars, the whirlwind barb and the CM wizzard are dead. Sure you can find some new build to work around that and sure they were quite strong in general, but after using those two builds four hours upon hours I kind of miss them. ^^ It feels that my barb has been demoted to a simple paragon-grind char, designed to kill a lot of trashmobs fast that don't drop anything anyway. Paragonleveling The last thing that bothered me is the pace at wich you gain paragon xp. I had my barb at paragon 100, my monk at paragon 92, my wiz at 26 and my demonhunter at 14 and I had to play for hours and hours to get them that high. Afther the patch all my chars had paragon 156 or something like that, however paragon levels go so fast in this patch I actually feel al little ripped off. Those last few levels of grinding to paragon 100 took for ages, now I get a level per hour easely. Why did I ever spend that much time on this game before patch 2.0.1 grinding paragonlevels I wonder. It seems all for nothing right now ... Where I spend hundereds hours to get from 0 to 100, it would now perhaps take 1/3 or 1/4 of the time. Blizz gave us extra paragonlevels calculated through experience gained, but they did not take in account the hours spend. 100 mil experience prior patch 2.0.1 isn't equal to 100 mil experience now when it has become much, much easier to gain experience! Don't get me wrong, this patch isn't all wrong, but in my opinion, the bad outweighs the good and that is just sad. I stopped playing after more then 1000 hours af playing, I was pulled in again with this new patch and I'm left disappointed a little. I expected more, perhaps I expected to much ... | ||

The haters gonna hate :) The haters gonna hate indeed, but in this case the OP is explaining the issues he has with the game, which to me comes closer to constructive criticism than just ranting hate. Granted the title may be somewhat attention grabbing, but the feedback is still valid :-) Constructive feedback is always welcome, be it positive or negative! | ||
