| Stable FPS, doesn't run "smooth"(1) | Category: Technical SupportMarch-5-2014 12:32 PM PST (9 years ago) ![]() | |
| Hi, Although my PC can run the game at a consistent high FPS, I experience it as smooth inside town, but "not as smooth" when in fights or a brief moment after fights. Like a form of microstutter? My PC: i5 3470k (not overclocked) 8 gig DDR3 1600Mhz ram MSI R9 290x Gaming 4GB (latest ATI drivers 13.12 ) Game installed on Intel SSD (using Serial ATA 6.0 Gb/s) Win 7 64bit Sound channels ingame already lowerd to 32... without results latency around 50-60ms (using 120mbit connection) Playing at 1080p (max monitor settings) at highest possible graphic settings. When I turn on Vertical Sync, my FPS is a consistent 60fps (as monitor). It never drops even under the most hectic of fights. My foreground is standard at 150fps (but limited due to vertical sync). When I turn off Vertical Sync the FPS is at 150 and never drops below 140. Although I get screen tearing, the micro stutter remains... This is very annoying. Most "solutions" on the internet talk about installing the game on USB (my SSD is faster) or lowering the sound channels (already tried, no result). It's not like the game is unplayable, but it makes my eyes hurt :p Any help would be appreciated. Thx | ||

| I'm going to lock this thread as it covers a variety of issues over several months. If you still experience issues, I would first recommend checking out this thread here: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/11982468910 If the steps there don't help, please create your own thread and please include in it your DxDiag report: battle.net/support/en/article/obtaining-system-files Thank you. ___________________________________ Let me know how I'm doing! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Lurdlespor | ||
