This what it has been all about. Don't get me wrong Blizz I just want to share my thoughts with you buddies.

I love the new patch, I love the changes, BUT it is not enough.

You want to build a community, but you never cared for that community, you always cared about GOLD.

So today, 5th March, a second scheduled maintenance for a second day in a row.
Patch 2.0.2.22274, nice, but hey, let me check on the changes, oh wait, I CAN'T, but why, because the announced changes are not available to view anywhere. No mention on your site, no mention in the forums, and your new all-in-one client, you guessed it right- it shows the 2.0.1 patch notes.

So what are we in Europe left with by Blizz? My anwser is as usual, we are left behind as half-people that are half-fans of a half-done, half-good game.

So you are patching your infamous patch for I don't know which time since it is LIVE, claiming all problems will be fixed, while you remain the hypocrites that you are.

You say that the community cannot be pleased with many people wanting many different things. Well I will tell when I will be happy:
1) When you admit that you don't care about anything else than getting richer
2) When you admit that this is your game, not "our community game", and you will continue doing stupid things to try make it better...

You don't get it, right?

it says us.battle.net
but this is eu.battle.net

See the minimal difference, if not, google it.

The patch notes are now live in Europe as well.

We are supporting 7 language versions of eu.battle.net so it can at times take a little longer to get patch notes posted in Europe as these first needs to be translated into the 6 other European languages we support, and if there are last minute edits or additions that needs to be translated then it is not always possible to get the patch notes posted at the exact time the patch goes live.

I can assure you that we care about all of our community, no matter what language and region people play in.

How can you use the excuse of translation as justification for a delay of posting the patch notes to the ENGLISH forums, which was the question by the OP.

My post was mostly concerning the updates we do on our blogs, such as the patch notes blog. Also, since the patch is deployed in the entire European region at the same time, and not just the English language part of the European region, the procedure is that patch notes must be posted simultaneously across the region. This procedure is the same for pretty much all our blog updates and announcements that affect the entire region. Also. this procedure has been established in all regions that support more than one language, and the European region just happen to be the one that supports the most languages, which means that last minute translation needs are more impactful in Europe when it comes to blog deadlines.

I am merely trying to explain why European blog updates are sometimes a little late, and that this in no way has anything to do about how we feel or care about our community as the OP suggested.

In regards to the forums, we are doing what we can to post more and faster in the English forums, and hopefully you should have seen some improvement in that regards over the last couple of months. Of course there are still areas where we can improve, and you are most welcome to send us an email with feedback on this if you would like :-)

Vaneras, I do think there is improvement in Blizz employees posting correctly and explaining on the forums. And don't get me wrong, I do appreciate your replies, but that does not mean I have to like your answer.

Good that you noticed an improvement. Also, liking our answers is not required :-)

We do want to get a healthy dialogue going with you guys though, so even if you do not like the things we say, and as such we will do our best to be more visible on the forums as well as elsewhere where the DIII community hangs out.
