whats the work out? ive used this computer before for it and havent reformatted lol

Has your Windows 7 been updated to Service Pack 1? If not, could you try doing that and then see if it will install?

Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

Could you uninstall the beta Battle.net Desktop app and then try installing the game via it's own installer?

Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Run

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

I wouldn't recommend changing the compatibility mode actually as doing so is usually the cause for other issues.
