| So, I installed this game when it first came out and it ran with no problems whatsoever. After a year or so I had a fatal error with the Boot Device and had to reformat. Since reformatting, I haven't had any issues with any games (including WoW) except for Diablo 3. Now, after looking at the minimum requirement for the processor, it seems I actually don't meet it. So either Blizzard made the processor requirement higher from when the game first released, or I'm missing something. Required Processor: Intel Pentium® D 2.8 GHz or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 4400+ My Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67 GHz I don't know much about hardware but I assume because 2.67 GHz is less than 2.8, that is the reason I am not able to install. Thing's I have already tried besides the Processor: 1. Ran launcher as admin 2. Windows Secondary Logon is set to Automatic 3. Started Agent.exe manually before starting the launcher 4. Under Agent.2045 I right clicked Agent.exe and went to Properties/Compatibility but for some reason "Run this program as administrator" is unchecked and also grayed out, so I cannot enable that option. Any help would be appreciated. | ||

| Heeby, The error message you're getting states your operating system doesn't meet the requirements, not your hardware. You didn't list the OS you're using though? In nearly all cases where this comes up, it's due to not having the latest Service pack installed. Can you check to see if your is updated? Windows XP has to be Service Pack 3 (except for the 64 bit version which requires Service Pack 2), Windows Vista has to be Service Pack 2, and Windows 7 should be Service Pack 1. | Fyregodd, Have you updated your Windows to Service Pack 1? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-windows-7-service-pack-1 I believe this might be due to a requirement of the beta Battle.net Desktop app you're using. | Heeby , Yep, that won't pass the games start-up checking.
